Hand Dyed and Shibori Technique-Light Rust
This organic cotton bandana was hand dyed by myself with avocado pits. The color is a light rust. It features shibori technique tie dye. There is a very small dark mark on this one, hence the discount. (see pic)

I purchase my blank white bandanas from the Maiwa textile company, a "slow clothes" movement company that works directly and intimately with many artisans from all over the world.
I use an older dyeing process, and it takes about 8 weeks to produce my hand dyed products from soaking the cloth in an organic soybean bath, to collecting the plant material, to preparing a dye bath, dyeing the cloth and then hand stenciling. Slight color variations are normal and I do not put anything on sale that has dramatic shifts in color. Click on images to enlarge them.
